IaaS service providers offer different instances as per the need or use of the user, ranging from small, medium, large, extra large and memory. Instances are customized according to the workloads. For business models, this cloud computing service is closest to the remote data centre. 2. PaaS: Development tools are hosted on the cloud infrastructure and are used by the users over the internet through APIs, web portals or gateway software. It is used for general software development and few service providers host the software after it is developed. Few PaaS products are salesforce’s lighting platform, AWS elastic beanstalk and google app engine. 3. SaaS: It is a distribution model delivering software applications over the internet, also called web services. SaaS services can be used by users from anywhere all they need is a computer or mobile with an internet connection. Users get access to application software and databases. Microsoft 365 is one such example.
